INS48G2
The INS48G2 comes with 48 10/100Base-TX auto-MDI/MDI-X ports and two modules for optional 1000Base-SX, 1000Base-LX, 1000Base-T and 100Base-FX modules. INS48G2 has built-in management interface for configuration and monitoring by using the console port, telnet, web or SNMP.

Up to 16 units can be stacked together through its Ethernet interface and managed by a single IP address.

INS48G2 can also be stacked with INS24G2 together up to a maximum of 16 units through its Ethernet interface and managed using a single IP address. The maximum stacking units for INS48G2 no matter with INS24G2 or INS48G2 is 16 units.

INS48G2 will automatically take control of all other stack members if other INS48G2 or INS24G2 is malfunctionable.

The integrated IEEE 802.1Q with VLAN tagging feature makes logically separating nodes easier and up to 32 VLAN groups are allowed on the INS48G2. Multiple priority queues ensure critical applications get the bandwidth and priority they need. IGMP issupported to prevent flooding of IP multicast traffic, and Port security helps secure the network against unauthorized users.
